PT Asuransi Sumit Oto (Selanjutnya "ASO") merupakan Perusahaan Asuransi Kerugian yang didirikan pada tanggal 18 Oktober 2010 dan berdomisili di Plaza Simas Lantai 6, Jalan KH Fachrudin No. 18, Jakarta, memperoleh izin usaha di bidang asuransi kerugian dari Menteri Keuangan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan No. KEP-343/KM.10/2011 tanggal 25 April 2011. Perseroan memulai kegiatan operasi komersialnya pada tanggal 4 Mei 2011.
Modal dasar Perseroan sebesar Rp 100.000.000.000,- (Seratus Milyar Rupiah) dengan 100.000 lembar saham dengan nilai nominal Rp. 1.000.000 per saham dengan susunan pemegang saham sebagai berikut:

Sumit Oto Insurance Organizes Financial Literacy Education Semester 2 Year 2025
Thursday, October 09, 2025. PT Asuransi Sumit Oto (ASO) again carried out Financial Education Literacy activities at SMA Xaverius Ambon City. The activity was carried out to support the Financial Services Authority program in increasing Financial Literacy and Inclusion. The various activities on that day were successfully and lively, with the participants being students of SMA Xaverius Ambon City and also accompanied by their accompanying teachers. ASO enthusiastically supported the program initiated by the Financial Services Authority. In addition to providing education to students, ASO also provided Free Insurance Products to participants as part of Financial Inclusion, as well as providing 6 units of Computers to support the educational activities of SMA Xaverius Kota Ambon. ASO is committed to continuing to carry out these Financial Literacy and Inclusion activities in accordance with the Financial Services Authority Regulation.
