PT Asuransi Sumit Oto (Selanjutnya "ASO") merupakan Perusahaan Asuransi Kerugian yang didirikan pada tanggal 18 Oktober 2010 dan berdomisili di Plaza Simas Lantai 6, Jalan KH Fachrudin No. 18, Jakarta, memperoleh izin usaha di bidang asuransi kerugian dari Menteri Keuangan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan No. KEP-343/KM.10/2011 tanggal 25 April 2011. Perseroan memulai kegiatan operasi komersialnya pada tanggal 4 Mei 2011.
Modal dasar Perseroan sebesar Rp 100.000.000.000,- (Seratus Milyar Rupiah) dengan 100.000 lembar saham dengan nilai nominal Rp. 1.000.000 per saham dengan susunan pemegang saham sebagai berikut:

Commitment to Strengthening Risk Management, Company Implements POJK and SEOJK through Competency Certification
As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening governance and the implementation of risk management, the Company has followed up on the provisions stipulated in POJK 34 of 2024 Articles 11 and 12 and SEOJK 12 of 2025 Chapter III point 4, which emphasize the importance of enhancing risk management competencies for the Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, and Executive Officers. From the end of 2025 to early 2026, the Company enrolled members of the Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, and Executive Officers in risk management training and certification programs conducted by LSP AKASI, a professional certification body registered with the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan). This program resulted in the following achievements: 2 Independent Commissioners obtained CIRGO (Certified in Independent Risk and Governance Oversight) certification 4 Directors obtained CERG (Certified Executive in Risk and Governance) certification 1 Executive Officer obtained CPRG (Certified Professional Risk and Governance) certification These achievements reflect the Company strong commitment to ensuring that risk management is not only a regulatory requirement but also an integral part of a robust organizational culture. With standardized and professionally recognized competencies, the Company is expected to further enhance the quality of its strategic decision-making and risk control. Going forward, the Company will continue to develop competencies on an ongoing basis as part of its efforts to maintain stability, improve performance, and deliver added value to all stakeholders.
